Techspert Program

Teacher Techsperts

Our Techspert program is second to none.  Our district Techsperts are leaders within our school district and assist and support students, staff members, and administrators. 

• At the elementary level, we have 3 or 4 Techsperts in each of our seven schools. They serve in a variety of positions: classroom teachers, interventionists, Art, Library ,and more.
• At the middle school, 13 teachers are serving as Techsperts. These teachers come from a variety of departments in the building.
• Techsperts at the high school level have a duty period during which they are available to support students and staff (teachers and administrators) in a central location in the library, or to push into classrooms.
  
   

Junior Techsperts at EAMS

Led by one of our middle school Techsperts, a group of 6th grade Junior Techsperts participates each year in the Junior Tech Leaders Program offered by the Colonial IU 20. Throughout the year-long program, students learn how to use various educational technology platforms and apps, learn coding, and most importantly, learn problem-solving and leadership skills. Our Junior Techsperts work as a team to complete a project, but also have opportunities to meet and collaborate with students from other school districts around the area. The program concludes with a Showcase where each team presents their project to school district administrators, parents, and their peer teams. We are extremely proud of our EAMS Junior Techsperts!
