Annual Public Notice of Services & Programs

As required under the federal Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), the Easton Area School District, as a member of the Colonial IU20, provides its Annual Public Notice of Services & Programs (PDF) to parents and guardians of children with special needs.

The purpose of this document is to notify parents about the District's obligation to identify and evaluate children with disabilities and provide them with a free and appropriate public education (FAPE). In addition, the notice informs parents of the District's, and Intermediate Unit's, procedures for child find, evaluation, and IEP development. Parents are also notified of their rights and responsibilities with regard to special education services and programs.
