Teacher Innovation Grants

TEACHER GRANT PROGRAM INFORMATION:

MISSION STATEMENT

The Foundation for Easton Schools’ mission is to develop strong EASD community involvement through fundraising efforts that promote and finance innovative educational programs that supplement enhance the quality of education and provide enrolled students with extended learning and co-curricular activities.

PURPOSE FOR TEACHER INNOVATION GRANTS

Teacher Innovation Grants are available to Easton Area School District teachers to implement an innovative project, initiative, teaching strategy, technology application or other effort providing measurable educational outcomes for students. The purpose of this grant program is to enhance student learning and student interest in learning by providing educators an opportunity to exercise their passion for teaching, develop their ideas, partner with colleagues and connect with the wealth of knowledge, expertise and talent within EASD and the community. Projects should enhance the regular curriculum.

FUNDING

Funding requests of any amount up to $500 are acceptable. 

EVALUATION REPORT

All successful applicants are required to submit a brief Project Evaluation Report (PDF) by June 1. A reminder, all projects must be funded and implemented during the awarded school year. Evaluation forms should include a brief statement of what was accomplished, data used to assess the program, and pictures adhering to district photography guidelines. Submitted pictures can be posted on The Foundation’s Facebook, Twitter, and website, as well as included in our Annual Report.
