Accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the Easton Area School District provides quality education for more than 9200 students from five municipalities with a wide socio-economic range.
The areas included are the City of Easton, Forks Township, Palmer Township and a portion of Lower Mount Bethel Township. The district includes seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one alternative ed school, and one high school. Easton Area High School provides a four-year comprehensive program for its enrollment of 2800 students. Graduation requirements and class rank calculation include work completed in grades 9-12.
Visitors:All visitors, upon entering any building within the Easton Area School District, will be required to provide a photo ID (preferably a driver’s license). The visitor’s pass issued must be displayed at all times while on district property and returned when you are leaving district property.
Procedure for Elevator Keys:Effective Oct 1, 2005: A deposit of $5.00 is required for anyone requesting an elevator key. Upon the return of your key, your deposit of $5.00 will be returned. If your key is not returned by the end of the school year, your name will be submitted to the grade level office and your report card, diploma will be held.
Student ID Badges:It is a requirement for all students to have an ID on at all times if they do not they can purchase another one for a fee of $5.00. Failure to comply will result in discipline action.
Due to recent school cancellations, EAHS will have a FULL DAY OF SCHOOL on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 instead of the originally planned half day. Please view the attached memo HERE for more details.
