Accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the Easton Area School District provides quality education for more than 9200 students from five municipalities with a wide socio-economic range.
The Easton Area School District encompasses the City of Easton, Forks Township, Palmer Township, and a portion of Lower Mount Bethel Township. The district includes seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one alternative ed school, and one high school. Cheston Elementary School serves students in grades K through 5 from Easton's South Side.
Lehigh Valley Children's Centers provides before and after school child care for the Easton Area School District elementary schools and the middle school. Extended Kindergarten care will also be provided for students at Forks, Palmer, Shawnee and Tracy Schools. Click

Register for Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts, a high-quality pre-kindergarten program free to qualified children who will turn 5 by September 1, 2016 and planning to attend Cheston Elementary School. Classes will be held at March Elementary School beginning March 7, 2016.
