What does a CTC do?

Classroom teachers sign up for laptop lessons to support their regular curriculum.  Usually the teacher writes down a topic and I develop a lesson about that topic using the laptops.  We most often use applications like Keynote, Print Shop, Kid Pix, Kidspiration, Graph Club, Garage Band, Pages, Comic Life,  and iMovie.  Other times, we use Internet programs and activities.  When I am not teaching, I fix minor hardware problems, report major ones, replace ink cartridges, maintain Palmer’s website, research and develop appropriate lessons, consult with teachers, and take photos. I also supervise a great group of Fourth Graders called the Apple Core.  They make sure the classroom laptops and other tech peripherals are safe and working.

One of my hobbies is writing poetry.  Click on this link to read some of my poems.
