Francis Andrew March Elementary School has a very rich history with our 95 years.  The building was built in 1913 and named after the leading Lafayette English professor, Francis Andrew March.  Since being built our school has been a junior high school, housing kindergarten to tenth grade, and now is an elementary school, kindergarten through fourth.  We have had hundreds of students, teachers, and staff walk through our halls having many memories and experiences.

One of our goals is to preserve this history so that we can share it with our current students and future generations.

Currently we have began archiving our materials in order to create a record of our materials as well as slow the degrading.   We have a variety of materials such as newspaper clippings, photographs, school newspapers, yearbooks, and other memorable going as far back as 1931.

As part of this goal to preserve our school history we are turning to alumni and the community to help us develop the collection of memorabilia.  We are looking for items that are related to the school history (newspaper clippings, yearbooks, photographs, brochures, and other items) to increase our collection.  If you are interested in helping us with this goal please call the school at 610-250-2531 and ask for Caitlin Kordek or send an email to kordekc@eastonsd.org.
