What is Distance Learning & Video Conferencing:
A videoconference connects two or more sites with audio and video links so that participants can converse, interact, and share documents. Distance Education is a method of delivering course content where teacher and student do not have to be in the same location.
What are the Possibilities:
Our system is equipped with a FRONT and REAR camera used to facilitate instruction and present the classroom setting and/or instructor on the video monitors located in the room as well as remote locations.
•DOCUMENT CAMERA—Allows for presentation of printed material. It is capable of reading transparencies as well as book, text documents, and photos. The document will appear on the screen in its original state.
•DVD / VCR—allows the instructor to utilize VCR / DVD during presentations.
•SMART BOARD—allows for traditional information to be presented in a variety of colors as the presentation takes place.
•INTERNET/NETWORK CONNECTIONS—Access to school network for presentation and conference mode.
•ONE TEACHER STATION—all of the equipment is operated at one station using a touch pad.
