On January 28, 2008, students from the Art Activity Period at Easton Area Academy helped shake away winter doldrums by making snow globes.  They assembled the snow globes using empty jars and adding animals and scenery, then filled the jars with water, glitter and glycerine.  The students learned about viscosity in a fun way.  (Thank you, Mr. Tom Ganssle, for the generous glycerine donation!!)  Assisting the students were Officer Steven Parkansky, School Resource Officer, Ms. Preethy Jayant, School Guidance Counselor, and Ms. Barbara Miller, School Psychologist.  Officer Parkansky, Ms. Jayant and Ms. Miller enjoy helping with activities such as this one, because it gives them the opportunity to develop and nurture positive and supportive relationships with the students, a key ingredient to educational success at the Academy.
