1. Summer Arts Camp
   

2. Each summer, Family Connection holds a summer arts camp.  Our 2010 camp was sponsored by Crayola LLC and the Lehigh Valley Arts Council.

4. This year, students learned about noted artists and created work in their style.  The students also learned about endangered species in Pennsylvania and created a quilt featuring these animals.
   

5. 
   

6. The program ended with an exhibit at the Easton Area Public Library on July 16th.  Students had the opportunity to discuss their artwork and show their families the pieces they created.

8. Art Contest and Art Show
   

9. Family Connection’s 10th Anniversary Student Art Contest and Show was held at the State Theatre Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday April 19th, 2008. Students in kindergarten through 2nd grade illustrated something that makes them happy, 3rd and 4th grade drew something they like about their community, and 5th and 6th grade drew their hopes and dreams for the future.  At the art show, children enjoyed craft activities before the awards ceremony.

53. Family Connection supports the annual Arts Day at Cheston Elementary School.  Preparation for Arts Day is integrated into CCLC instruction and our students participate in the Arts Day play.
