Family Connection’s History:


1998:

  1. Founded on the south side of Easton through Family Service System Reform (FSSR)

  2. Services offered at Cheston Elementary School


2002:

  1. Launched the Parent-Child Home Program


2003:

  1. Expanded services to Paxinosa Elementary School


2004:

  1. Expanded services to Palmer Elementary School

  2. Launched the Parents Who Care program

  3. Launched the 21st Century Community Learning Center at Cheston Elementary School


2005:

  1. Joined the Easton Area School District’s oral health initiative


2006:

  1. Incorporated as Family Connection of Easton, Inc. and obtained a 501c(3) designation from the IRS

  2. Launched our Summer Arts Camp


2007:

  1. Expanded services to March, Forks, and Tracy Elementary Schools

  2. Started offering family support services to Spanish-speaking families


2008:

  1. Celebrated our 10th anniversary with a student art show at the State Theatre and a community-wide birthday party at the Easton Area Elementary School


2009:

  1. Launched the Success by 6 initiative in Easton

  2. Expanded services to Shawnee Elementary School
