Works Cited Format

 Only the first “Works Cited” page should be labeled “Works Cited.” Continue your page numbering sequence in the upper right corner.  Like the rest of your paper, double space the entire Works Cited page.  Center the title “Works Cited” one inch down from the top edge of the sheet.  Arrange the items in alphabetical order by the surname of the author.  When no author is listed, alphabetize by the first important word of the title. Place the first line of each entry flush with the left margin and indent succeeding lines half an inch.
