Magazines

The following is the format for citing journal articles. 

In standard  MLA Format, the information should appear as follows.

** Citation in text appears in Grey following the Works Cited Notation**

The following is the order of information for periodical articles:

Author's Last Name, First Name.  "Article Title."  Publication Title  Day Month Year: page numbers.

 Print format weekly/monthly magazine article:

"An Indian View."  American Heritage Apr. 1995: 137-38.

("An Indian View" 138)

Nichols, Annabel.  "A Tale of Two Brownstones."  Architectural Digest Feb. 1987: 96.

(Nichols 96)

Online magazine article (no version in print format):

Rawson, Josie.  "A Broken Life."  Salon.com 21 Apr. 1997.  15 July 1999 <http://www.salon.com/april97/dorris970421.html>.

Online version of a print magazine article:
