Summer Guidelines
Printing Services will
accept summer/September work starting TODAY!
through June 20, 2002. Requests arriving on or after the June 20thdate
may be placed on the September schedule, and not guaranteed for the
opening of school.
Journals
vAll
GRADE LEVEL journal and school agenda books must be submitted by June
2, 2002. All High School Health Books must be submitted by
the above date.
vPlease
submit special cover artwork or inserts that your staff would like to appear
in their journals or agendas.
vPlease
allow for increase in classroom size during the new school year.
Request Forms
vPlease list
all work by priority using your “Date Needed” section of your request form.
vPlease
do not use the same date on all requests.
vPlease
do not use ASAP or September 2003, use Month, Day and Year.
vBe
selective – opening day material should be first priority.
vA
recommendation for the number of pages per request is 30. Please allow sufficient
time to complete larger projects.
vNumber
of requests should be of a reasonable amount. Our recommendation is
5 to 15 per grade level.
Originals
vPlease
send originals whenever possible. Two proof copy sets will be made for your staff’s
convenience. One to file and one to send to Printing Services.
vWe
will try to clean up some of the copies if time permits. Please check with other
teachers who are using the same material for better copies or
originals.
Copyright
vA
copyright permission letter must accompany all requests where applicable. NO work
will be processed without the proper permission. Printing
Services reserves the right to refuse any and all work that violates
United States and District copyright laws and guidelines.
Returns / Mail
vAny
requests that are returned for copyright violations or unreadable copies
will be sent to your school’s main office. The main office will
notify your staff that the work has been returned. If they cannot contact
the staff member, the request will have to wait until the individual
returns in August or September.
vAll completed
requests will be the responsibility of the respective teacher and or school.
A list of requests will be at Printing Services. Any requests not
listed with Printing Services may still be at the school office. Please
check the main office before you contact Printing Services.

will accept “NEW” teacher request in the month of August
and they will be completed
as time permits. Please have them use a priority system
in scheduling their requests. We will try to complete a few requests for
the start of school. Please mark on the request form “NEW’
Teacher.
The month of September
is a very busy month for Printing Services. Please
remember to schedule large books during the months of June and July.
If you need assistance please call Printing Services to see if we can
accommodate your large requests, do not use your school copier for
large volume projects.
