Install Adobe Acrobat 5.0 from CD - Windows 95/98
 

Install Adobe Acrobat 5.0 from CD - Windows 2000/XP

Windows users - click on the appropriate link. You will be asked to "save or open" the Acrobat file.  Choose save (to desktop).  Close your browser and double-click on the Acrobat icon.  Follow defaults to install.  Restart if prompted, first removing Practice Test CD from the drive.  Re-insert the Practice Test CD.

Note:  You will need WinZip installed on your computer to run the Acrobat setup.  Click here if you need this software. Choose save (to desktop).  Close your browser and double-click on the WinZip icon.  Follow defaults to install.  Restart if prompted, first removing Practice Test CD from the drive.  Re-insert the Practice Test CD.  Proceed with Acrobat installation.
 

Install Adobe Acrobat 5.0 from CD - Mac 8.6 and above

Mac users - click on the appropriate link.  Quit all applications as prompted.  Follow defaults to install.  Restart.  Re-insert the Practice Test CD, or double-click the Practice Test CD icon on the desktop, then the start icon to open this CD.

Note:  You will need to need to install browser updates first and then Acrobat for the plug-in to work properly.

Windows users can also install Internet Explorer from their Windows System disk - 95/98/2000/XP. We recommend upgrading to version 6.0 or greater.
 

Mac OS 9.0 and higher can also install Internet Explorer from their Mac Operating System CD-ROM. Be certain to upgrade to version 5.0 or higher if necessary.
