For bibliographic forms books, periodicals, government documents, Internet sites, etc.  consult the Fifth Edition of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers by Joseph Gibaldi. Samples of some of the most frequently used forms appear below, but it is beyond the scope of this manual to provide examples of all of the possible forms for a bibliography.
